So here I am sitting in a very hot little shack in the middle of Swaziland thinking about the way things are.
Thinking about the people that I have fallen in love with and the fact that life is going to carry on like normal after I leave this place.
My time here in Swaziland is quickly coming to a close, although I am going to be back here in January the thought of leaving this place is causing an empty space in my heart.
As I am telling the locals here that I am leaving, they get sad too.
My first thought as I was thinking about saying goodbye to the people is that they are going to ask me for my clothes that I am leaving here, or they are going to ask for money, or for sweets, or for anything that I am not taking back to America.
But to my surprise they ask for one thing and one thing only...they ask me never to forget them.

I am never going to forget the little orphans who come to our house everyday around dinner time.
  Donzula, Nintendazo, and Mncebo.
They come and want nothing more than to be held and fed.
Sometimes you don't see them coming and they sneak up on you and you feel little hands on your back side because they want to be held.
Some times they bring friends but most of the time it is just them.
There have been many a times that I have been peed on because Mncebo, who I named Sarah, has fallen asleep on my lap.
Sometimes they come with injuries because they have been beaten, sometimes they come with no clothes on, but every time they come to be loved.

I am never going to forget Pepile who never wants to be held or even looked at by a white person.
But one day she was so so sick and her mom was not there to hold her and she fell asleep in my arms for hours.
Pepile In Siswati means life and she was named this because her mother had 4 other babies die before her and when Pepile came along she was named life.

I will never forget these precious people and there are so many more stories of faces that are forever burned into my memory.
I look forward to next semester here in Swaziland.

Thank you for another year of walking out this adventure with me.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
I invite you to continue on this adventure with me and would welcome anyone who wants to jump onboard.
I look forward to seeing you all in a few short weeks.
